Hint of RedPosted: October 16, 2011
Some of the best years of my life were when I was in college. So, I had a great time hanging out with good college friends at our alma mater this weekend. I wore this outfit to a school event as an attempt to off show my school spirit. Unfortunately, the main color should have been red, but I didn’t feel I had a suitable red shirt for the outfit (university apparel shopping, here we come!). I chose to make red the accent and chose some of the secondary colors (black and white) as my theme for my top.
I decided to wear my dark denim blazer (not a school color) as a jacket and, at the last minute, realizing it would be chilly, I threw on a completely non-matching purple and magenta scarf (not pictured, but you can probably see how I was veering into ‘looking like I went to another school’ territory). I topped off the look with a pair of black jeggings, black flats, and a black-jeweled necklace, knowing that black at least matches everything and is a part of the school color scheme.
